It's now October & we are finally ready to roll the hull, All of the fairing work has been done, the hull has multiple coats of high build epoxy primer. What is left to do nearer to the finish of construction is a final faring & finish with linear polyurethane. We employed a professional painter for this part of the job who has experience in this type of project. This turned out to be a good decision as we now have a very fair hull.

Pictures above are of the first coat of high build primer yet to be longboarded. Also we are fabricating the curved deck beams at the moment also. I think we have about 50 to do.

Pictures above are of the hull ready to go...We have built the cradle around the hull & removed the jig from underneath. First having jacked up the cradle which is now resting on the timber stys. 2 cranes will be required to move the hull out of the shed & to roll it. We are also end for ending the boat to allow us to gain a little more high as the concrete slab is sloped towards the bow as it sits now. As it is we believe that the saloon roof will hit the rafters of the shed so we may have to move the boat to finish the flybridge deck. (Not sure yet.)
