Below you will see an updated arrangement for our fuel manifold with dual Racor strainers & a vacuum gauge. We are also using a fuel magnet that's designed to break up any algae that may find it's way into our fuel lines. The last photo below is below the saloon floor showing electrical conduits & hot & cold water going aft. In the past 2 months we have been able to progress the forward accommodations well. You can see the coach house roof framing & also the first layer of ply to the roof. It's really starting to look good. You can also see to the sides of the photos that we have completed all of the bulwark cap. This was 4 strips of spotted gum hardwood glued & screwed to the posts & the western red cedar bulwark wall. Again it has worked out very well. The next 2 photos show the installed bowsprit, also here you can see the bulwark cap terminating at the bowsprit.
More updates for this month, we have had the prop shaft & propeller installed, we have glued & screwed the sponsons on, & have begun fabricating the duckboard ... which should be back in a month or two after being finished in the shop. |
