June 2005 sees us progressing well with construction of the boat. We have completed the drilling of the 85mm diameter prop shaft which is 2.7m long and has finished up dead straight (thanks to the designer of the boat who drilled it for us). We have started fabrication of the rear & forward decks and have some of the deck sheeting in place.

Pictures below show a little of the technique used to drill the prop shaft hole. Bearings constructed from plywood & timber with the boring bar passing full length after a pilot hole was first drilled.
