Michael was born and raised in Texas and grew up loving the outdoors, with his dad taking him on countless hiking, canoeing, and camping adventures. After university, he worked in the accounting and finance world for five years and built up a strong foundation in business.

In 2019, Michael decided to make a change and enjoy the outdoors through a career in sailing. He began captaining monohulls on flotillas in the Mediterranean and lived in the Virgin Islands working on charter catamarans for six years. After living life on the seas, he moved back to the mainland with his partner and has settled down in Charleston, SC to continue his maritime career.

With six years of charter experience and having lived on a wide variety of catamarans, Michael has developed a solid understanding of the industry and what it takes to be successful. From his first Caribbean delivery, to commissioning a new-build catamaran and crossing the Atlantic, Michael has experienced a diverse yacht landscape. Most recently, Michael was the captain of a Lagoon 77, delivering luxury sailing experiences throughout the Caribbean.

With a combination of yachting and business experience, Michael is able to efficiently and successfully navigate the yacht brokerage landscape for his clients. Michael joins The Multihull Company team with an eagerness to assist a vast clientele in finding the perfect multihull for their needs — from those looking for a new build to place into charter, to those seeking their future liveaboard cruising home.
